Web comics have a reputation of sucking unless they are humor comics.  First Blood is one of the few that I’ve been reading that doesn’t suck.  It is written by Bobby Crosby and illustrated by Owen Gieni.

The story?  Well, basically zombies have taken over and vampires have to protect the few humans that have survived the zombies so they have something to feed upon.

Yeah, I know, the story seems kinda… meh.

But it actually isn’t meh.  The relationships between vampires and humans is fleshed out (oh punny!) and gives it more depth than the usual horror comic. 

A new page is put out every MWF, and it isn’t too far deep into it.  You can catch up right about now.
