According to this nifty article at the Houston Chronicle, there is some talk of adapting Archie, Jughead and the whole Riverdale gang into East Indian Markets. Archie Comics are currently imported into India, but because they cost roughly 6 times what a local comic costs, he hasn’t exactly been the biggest thing since the tandouri oven.

But, because India’s economy is going positively wakka-wakka, Archie Entertainment is going to be working with Star India to produce Reggie’s mean pranks into an Indian theme, although the stories will supposedly be based in Riverdale, USA.
